Nobis 9" blue tablet. why is the screen backwards and reversed?

Not sure what version of Android O/S you are using but in

Settings > Developer Options look for:

Force RTL Layout Direction

If it's got a checkmark then uncheck it.

My nobis 9" tablet keeps popping up windows saying unfortunately blah blah has stopped working. i turned it off and turned it back on and now i can't even get the home screen. please help

Nobis 9 tablets are defective. Many, if not most, of them end up having bad internal memory. They might work for a week, a month or maybe even two months but, sooner or later, theminternal memory goes bad. When this happens you get the stopped working error messages and in many cases it will no longer boot up. Just Google, Nobis NBO9 stuck on go and you will see you aren't the only one who got ripped off when you bought this POS.

I know, I have one. I sent it in when the internal memory went bad. Cost me 20 bucks postage. They fixed it and sent it back. It worked about two weeks and the internal memory went bad again. Then they gave me the runaround and refused to issue me an RMA.

Stay away from anything sold by Bidwell that uses the Nobis brand. Better yet stay away from Bidwell period. They are rip off artists, IMO.

My nobis tablet is stuck on the nobis start up screen. How do I fix it.

If you Google NobisNB09 stuck on GO you will find many angry people who have the same problem. Rarely does the factory reset procedure work to fix it. IMO they have a problem with faulty internal SD chips. So, what I'm saying is you may not be able to fix the problem other than trying to get an RMA and sending it back for repair if it's still in the warranty period.

Here is the factory reset procedure.

1) press and hold at the same time both the power button and the volume(-) button.

2) keep holding them until you see the Nobis screen, Then it will go off. Keep on holding both buttons down for perhaps ten or fifteen more seconds and finally you will see a screen with some green text options

3) Among the options is one that says something like "wipe data/factory reset.

4) Using the volume (+) button scroll to it and then press the power button once to select it.

5) Another screen will come up with text options of no, no no for five or six lines with one that has a go ahead for the reset option. Again, using the volume (+) to scroll to the reset option and select it using one push of the power button.

6) you will get a reboot option.

7) reboot by pushing the power button, it will turn off.

8) Give it a minute or so and then push the start button and
hold it until you see the Nobis screen. Let it go and wait. If the hardware's OK it will go through the initialization routine which
should take several minutes. Anything more than about ten
minutes without going to the set up screen indicates you have
bad hardware such as a faulty internal SD memory.

One hint: turn off your wi-fi router so it can't connect to wi-fi.
It will boot up with the wi-fi ON and it will connect to any open
router it can find and commence to download updates for all the apps. This makes it take forever and can completely fill
up the available app partition memory and result in another failure to boot up next time.

IMO the Nobis NBOP is a POS! I have one so I know.

Nobis tablet won't boot

Join the crowd. Lots of people have problems with these.

1) make sure the battery is charged

2) push the power button and hold it until you see the Nobis screen

3) if you don't see the Nobis Screen go to step 6)

4) if you do see the Nobis screen wait a minute and it should proceed to the *GO* screen. If it stays stuck on the go screen forever, you have a problem. You might or might not be able to fix it.

5) on the stuck on Go screen take a paperclip and push on the reset button slowly increasing the force until you feel it click. Release it. Now wait a minute or so. If it doesn't start going through the boot up by itself, push the power button until the Nobis screen comes on again. Wait for it to go into the GO screen again and give it several minutes to boot to the home screen. If it never does you need to take more drastic actions.

6) Turn it off by holding the power button down long enough for the screen to go black. Then push the power button and the volume (-) button and hold them. Keep holding them. It should cycle through a Nobis screen then a blank screen and finally a screen with green writing on it. Release both buttons.

7) Use the power (+) button to cycle through the options.

8) Scroll to *Wipe all data/ factory reset* or similar.

9) Select it using a short push of the power button.

10) You will be given a second chance to change your mind when a screen comes up with a bunch of no no no no's and one reset option. Use the power button (+) to scroll down to the reset choice.

11) Once there, click the power button and it will wipe all the data and when its done wiping data it will be on the reboot option. Click the power button.

(I am typing the above from memory and some of it could lack total accuracy but the process in intuitive so if you detect any variances go with the flow.)

Now, you can hope and pray it was a software and not a hardware problem. If it's a software problem it should reboot into the original configuration and every change or addition you made to it will be gone. Then you can start over again. Here's a clue. The space on the SD card for apps is SMALL and easily filled. When you first connect to Wi-Fi immediately go to the Google Store and select settings. Choose the option to NOT auto update. Auto update replaces the stock apps with the updated versions which are MUCH larger and they will not fit into the limited space. Only manually update those apps you will be using such as email, chrome etc. Leave the rest as the smaller originals which will still work.

Hint: When you first connect to the Store it might be balky because it's using the original (old) store app. Be patient as it will be updating Google Services (large) and Google Store in the background. You might be able to get to *Settings* to turn off auto updates right away or it might take a minute or two for the settings option to appear. Turn off auto updates as soon as you can to stop it from updating everything.

If it's a hardware problem, and it's still in warranty you can send it back for repair. See your little owners manual for the website which will take you to a new website using a different name. State your problem and they will reply to you via e-mail. I had to send mine back because the internal SD card went bad and it wouldn't remember any changes and it couldn't download anything because there was no place for it download it to. They fixed it and sent in back in two weeks and it's now working like new again. No charge as mine was less than a month old when it crapped out. It did cost me the postage to send it in - about fifteen bucks.

I hope I was able to be of assistance. I like my little Nobis despite the problems I've had with it. Just yesterday a bunch of processes commenced stopping. Pop-ups would appear saying this and that process had stopped and nothing would work. I tried the reset button on the back with no success. I had to go through the above described factory reset again and it came back to original on the reboot and seems to be itself again. So, it was a software problem this time whereas last time it was a hardware problem.

Ah, the delight of computers!
