How do i date stamp photos?

One way would be to use the vacation date feature. Refer to the "Recording which day of the vacation you take the picture" section of the manual (page 54 in my copy).

All current digital cameras record the date and time (and a lot more) with each image. Just about all photo cataloging/viewing/editing programs can show you this data. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date on the picture, in the margins, or on the back.

If you need a manual, you can download one from the manufacturer's web site at

I like to reset my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66 camera. I ordered a new camera to give it as e present to a girlfriend. I opened the box and did set the date and time when the camera asked for it. I can change...

I am not familiar with your exact model as it is not sold in USA. But I have worked with similar ones.
Sorry, but in my experience, you can not reset this camera to the original state (default). On most cameras you can do this in the MENU screen at the last option, not with this series of LUMiX.
The memory items, date, etc are held in the camera memory usually by a small internal battery. I suppose you could take the camera to a shop and have it removed and re-installed
There may be a was the Panasonic support could provide you with. Here is there USA link: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/

I have a Lumix DMC Z57 and would like to set it so when I take a picture the date the date will appear on the picture. Is this possible?

HMMM, I know the date is recorded on the digital file when it was taken and what the camera settings were. I know when I transfer mine to the hard drive i organise bu the date taken. so this info is there in the meta data recorded with each exposure. It sounds like you want it displayed on the pictures Too?
In Picasa( the free google software) File info is displayed at the bottom of each phota and a right click on the image and selecting properties reveals the meta data Camera date, date digitised, modified ect.

Can panasonic lumix dmc ls80 record the date of each photo?

You will find that the date and time and a whole bunch of other information is located within your photos.
To get this information all you need to do is right click on the image and then click on properties and then click on details tab.
It pays to make sure the date and time are set correctly on your camera for it to mean anything.

Panasonic SDR-H40-Date/time missing when transfering video to PC

get a capture card, an AV cord ( red, yellow and white cord) and record it onto the computer. This will push the date and time stamp onto the video. There really isnt any other quick solution :-(, unless you sport 800$ for a highend camera, then all harddrive cameras have this problem.

Date stamp

To get the date/time to be on your photos while taking the picture so you don't have to use the software later do this:

When in the mode to take pictures, press the round "Function Set" button and change the recording pixels to "Postcard 1600 X 1200". "Postcard" is the only setting that will allow the time/date stamp to be recorded on the picture.

Then press the "Menu" button and scroll down to "Date Stamp". You can select "Date", "Date & Time" or "Off". You can only do this when your pictures are set to the "Postcard" mode.
