Use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.

Hitachi 65f59 65 TV keeps shutting off

This set uses a number of green L.E.D.'s inside which are tied to different voltages---if you can watch them when set shuts off you are looking for one that goes out either quickly or after the others--points to area (voltage) where problem may be.

Other visual indications are screen changes red, green, blue right at shutdown and sound and brightness then both vanish=shutdown circuit being triggered to protect the set.

I have a Hitachi 50v500 tv and the picture has tuned bright white almost like a flash. I stillhave some color but not all. Do you know what the problem could be?.

Go into the settings and adjust the picture, turn the brightness and most likely the contrast down, or there should be a reset button to change it back to factory settings.

Get sound no picture lots of colors flashing

What king of TV? "DLP" your DMD board. Just throw tv out. Expensive, $300-800 and a SOB to install. If a LCD it is your T-CON/LCD control
board. Somewhat simple to install. Runs about $60-175 depends on brand and size of tv. It over heats and causes weird colors"floresent colors, colored bars,or the sereen to go hay-wire plad/stripes go bright/dark. Try Shop Jimmy for used/recon. parts. Hope this info helps. Todd

PICTURE NOT AS BRIGHT AS I WANT HAVE TRIED ALL . TV IS HD REAR PROJECTION . I HAVE TRIED ALL AJUSTMENTS,COLOR,TINT,FORMAT,SHARPNESS, BRIGHTNESS ETC. LAMP ONLY ONE YEAR OLD.

Unfortunately there are 2 IC's and a capacitor that can cause this set to be really dark. Without proper troubleshooting it is impossible to diagnose. Have a shop check it out for you. Thanks
