SOURCE: LIGHTS FLASHING ON THE PANEL

If the reset procedure (those buttons you pressed) didn't work, it's because the machine is still reading a fault. It could be a few things... water temperature too low (indicating a bad heating element), partial blockage of the drainage hose, or something preventing the spray arm from spinning. If letting it sit for a while allows it to start again, I suggest you do that. It will stop again and the lights will start blinking. When it does, open it up immediately and see how much standing water there is. If there is a lot, look for a blockage in the drainage hose. That's the most likely, I think, because it makes sense that it would work again once the water slowly drained. If there isn't much water, then see if the water that is there is hot. If it's not, then it's the heating element. Checking for movement of the sprayer arm is a bit trickier, as it won't be moving while the thing is open. Though, if the first two are not the problem, there's a good chance that is. Or, of course, it could be a malfunctioning control panel giving false errors. There's really no way to test for that, unfortunately - but I don't think it's acting like that is the problem.

SOURCE: SANI RINSE LIGHT KEEPS BLINKING

hi

have you done some troubleshooting with it? try putting only 1 plate to clean. would it still have the same problem?

i would suggest that if you see the water doesnt drain, check if there are any blockages at the bottom.have it regularly clean as some components in the inside might get particles left from the water and not from the dirty plates.

hope this helps you.

My clean button keeps flashing and can not get it to reset

The only way to clear this fault code is to do a key pad dance. I know sounds funny.... I will explain, the sani buttom and heat dry are the buttoms needed. close dishwasher, push sani then heat, sani heat then heat, sani then heat. Yes three time.... This will make all the lights flash then go through a system check. This will take about 2 mins or so to complete. The dishwasher will return to normal function wise.
Basically your fault is a heater circuit problem and will need to be looked at to determine what part of the circuit failed.
Good Luck

I have a quite partner 2 and it is stuck on the clean cycle and the light is blinking on and off. It will not work when I push any other buttons.

whirlpool dishwashers sense the water temperature in them the clean light flashing 7 times means either the heater element is not working or the water temperature going into the unit is to cold, start the water at the sink before starting the dishwasher now to get rid of the flashing light press the hi temp wash button and then the sani rinse button press one then the other over and over until all the lights come on it will then go in to a test mode when it completes the flashing light will go out that will solve your problem

Flashing clean light and wont start. Is there a sequence of buttons to reset the switchboard?

sani rinse---heated dry---sani rinse---- heated dry.. all the lights on console should light then close the door, let run for 20 -30 secs, and cancel the cycle, if the problem happens again yo need t call a servicer. 1 time maybe a fluke but to happen again indicates a heating, issue somewhere(or a lack of heating)

Lights flashing on clean. Program does not take.

you can open the lowe racess panel of d/w and you find a techsheet/ trouble shooter, in ther they will explain how to reset a clean light blinkin 7 times.. you can try pushing the "sani-rinse"---"heated dry"--- "sani-rinse" --- "heated dry"... toggling these buttons will triggor a test mode, youl know your in it for all the lights will light, close the door and wait 30 secs or so, the reopen door and cancel cycle, after it runs for 2min it will be ready fro you to start using again.. of the clean light issue returns, id recommned calling for service

Whirlpool gold- quiet partner III

An angel of mercy on another blog posted this solution and it worked for me as well. My Whirlpool Quiet Partner Dishwasher would not work due to the CLEAN light flashing in 7 interval sequences. I followed these steps and my dishwasher is not working perfectly...hope it works for you:

"Well for mine which is a Whirlpool Gold Model # GU2400XTPS3, I found the seq of buttons that I had to push to reset the curcuit board. I think it may of been in this forum somewhere. But I had to push - Sani Rinse, Heated Dry, Sani Rinse, Heated Dry, and then the dishwasher went through it's diagnostic cycle and then after that the light stopped blinking and the dishwasher works great. Supposily, there is a Product Tech Sheet behide the kick panel of every dishwasher, but mine was gone so I had to find the information on the internet. You might want to do a serach for the correct seq of buttons you have to push to reset the curcuit board. If you know for sure that the heating element is bad, you will have to order one. "
