Having problems deleting pending documents

I've been trying to print a document, and when I open up active printers, it says it's pending two different documents. The first one is from 2 days ago, status says "deleting-printing". So, I've hit cancel all printing documents, it will cancel the most recent request first, however, it still refuses to cancel the 2-day old print job. And then, when I try hitting restart, it comes up with the error msg "error processing command".

I'm out of options...and am in DESPERATE need of my printer!

Assuming you have a modern windows pc, You will need to manually stop the print service. Do this by running the command "net stop spooler" from the "run" line. Then go to "C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS" and delete all the files from there. After these files are gone, start the spooler service again by running "net start spooler". You should be all set after that.

Every time I try to print to my Dell 3110cn printer, a message pops up stating "Load Tray 1 024965 Executive" Paper tray is full and inserted correctly...what do I need to do to make it print?

I would try two steps:
1) Check the "pending documents" for your printer and make sure the printer queue is empty - delete any pending document.
2) Check the printer settings and make sure the default paper type is not set to "Executive". You may also check this in the paper properties of the document that you want to print.

There has been a pending document in the que. I tried to delete the document but now it states deleting next to the document in the que. Can not print anything.

Open the Print Que and see if it will let you pause the print job. Then close the que and turn the printer off. Open the print que again and see if it will let you delete it. For some reason every now and again a que will hang. This process should reset the que. It will dump everything in printer memory and should release the document to delete the job. In any event pausing the job should release the printer to print other jobs.

Pending documents wont print

Your buffer is overwritten. You need to right click on the pending document and select delete it would be easy to delete those processes which are not bufferrred but to delete top document you will have to switch on and off your printer. wait for a minute and restart your computer. You can start printing again.

Im trying to delete a pending which will not go

You can use the following command to stop spooler at DOS prompt.

net stop spooler

When the spoller stops, you can open the printer dialog and try to delete it. When it gets deleted, go to DOS and type:

net start spooler

Hopefully, this will solve your problem

Document pending will not print

Well this could be a number of issues. First of all try to make sure the printer is on, (yes I know very stupid request but I've seen it happen thousands of times). Then make sure the printer is connected to the PC, either via USB or LPT port or whatever the case maybe. Thirdly, you want to make sure that the printer is installed on the PC. If you goto START/PRINTERS & FAXES, and see if there are any other documents that are stuck or pending, try to delete them out or delete the printer and reinstall it. Then try to print again.

After installing the HP PhotosmartC5280 All in one printer we can get it to scan and print from new documents. Yet, when trying to print from a saved file we receive the message that we do not have enough...

Try to delete unnecessary files on your computer, coz your computer is low in memory. open up your printer if theres a pending document then try to clean or empty it. boot your pc. Then try to print your document.

Cannot delete a document waiting to print

You don't have to go so far as to uninstall the printer just go to services (control panel > administrative tools > services) and turn off the print spooler service (right click and choose stop) then turn off the printer. Right click the printer (start menu > printers and faxes > the printer that is having trouble) and select cancel all documents. Restart the print spooler service and turn the printer back on. Your pending documents should be gone.
