Try downloading a proper software demo from www.nicelabel.cl and make a test. If it works, means that you are either using a really bad printer or that your scanner is having problems to read that symbology

SOURCE: I have a Symbol LS1203 but it doesn't read a C39

Hello,
you would need to set the correct length for the barcode, there are several settings at the page 186 of the Product Manual located here http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=5880807apdf
The options are One Ddiscrete Length, Length Within a Range or Any Length. Please select one of them by scanning the approriate barcode.

My ds9208 does not read some code128 barcodes. It is currently set at default. Any settings that could help this? I've tried setting lengths but no success.

hi,It could be that the Barcode is some odd variation of 128, or badly printed. It does not take much to mess up the Quality of the Label.
Can you send me one, as a PDF, i can read it with one of my testers and make sure it is correctly formatted.

Handheld Barcode Scanner service

Do you currently have hand-held inventory scanners?

Although you may not be familiar with Legacy's Technology Services, we may already be servicing your barcode scanners, barcode printers and even POS hardware. Many sellers of extended maintenance contracts have used Legacy for years to perform service on devices covered by their contracts.

Maybe you're looking for a specific hard to find part. Chances are I've got it!

We also carry refurbished equipment if you are in the market.

Give me a call for a quote and to discuss your current needs.

ı have mc 7090 using windows mobile 6.1 ı use datawedge 3.2.4 ı want o scan code 128 type barcodes but its not reading. I was using earlier 2.0.2 version and checked symbologies...

Hello Osman, in the default settings of datawedge is an issue with barcode length for code128. Please check it and setup the specific length, that you want to use.
Klick on the DataWedge icon, select Standard Configurations, go to Scanner, Decoders, Code128 and select the min and max value.

Need to program scanner to read first 9 positions of a 17 position code128 barcode.... then add an "ENTER" stroke... then pause, then an F10 Key....

contact Symbol/Motorola Help desk at 1-800-653-5350. You will probably have to use the scan 123 utility, but the LS2208 may not have the capability

I would like 2 know the model number/name of a barcode reader , also want 2 convert the 12 digit to 13 digit reading

If you want a cheap but reliable scanner try the LS1203 by Motorola (formerly Symbol) with any Symbol scanner to convert a 12 digit UPC into a 13 digit number you scan the UPC-A Enable System Character Country Code from the appropriate Product Reference Guide. The guides can be found at: http://support.symbol.com/support/supportcentral/supportcentral.do?id=m1
