Samsung cell phone: received text message with no subject, clicked download, phone tries and tries but no download:
This text message was probably an email to your phone via SMS. In an email via text message, the Sender has the option to add a subject to indicate what the message is about. That person left it blank. If there is an attachment that you are trying to download that does not download but aimlessly continues to try..
The file is most likely corrupted or just too big and your phone can't handle putting it in memory for you to obtain. Best to tell your friend who sent it to you, to have them email the attachment to you.
Download a program that can help you recover the deleted text message
(Digital Media Recovery, for example). Download and install the program
by clicking on the "Download" link and then opening the installation
file. You can use the program to hook up your cell phone and find lost
data on it, including previously deleted text messages.
File Manager
You can also try a program such as FE Explorer for Series 60 phones. After you download and install this particular
software, it will allow you to launch your phone's drive and see what
it still files has stored on it. You can also look through any memory
cards inside the phone. Once you find the text you want, you can
restore and view it.
You can take a screenshot of the thing you need. Downloading a message isnt what really happens at all. Voicemails are stored by your carrier unless you have a 3rd party voicemail. text are stored on your phone and the person texting with you. But if your talking about intercepting text from a phone thats not yours, that wont happen and is most likely illegal, but they can forward you the message or screencap of the message
Install this app, it will let you backup your sms (text) messages to a plain text document: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smeiti.smstotext&hl=en

Nokia PC Suite 7.0.8.2 - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com and try.But if you have deleted the messages there is no way to help.Good luck. Thanks for visiting fixya
If you cannot download the text messages directly from your phone (Blackberry is capable), but the majority of cell phones on the market are unable to, there are programs that you can subscribe and pay for. If you want a service that is totally free CLICK HERE.
Unless you are capable and have the software required, you cannot simply download the text messages to your computer. Also, if you had the aforementioned, it voids your warranty on the cell phone and could possibly "brick" (make the phone inoperable) the phone.
I recommend the link and the website method. If you ever upgrade or need to replace your phone all of your text messages will be saved. There is no limit for storage using this site, so forward any and all text messages. I hope this helps and good luck!
I never used the text messaging on my blackjack,so I don't really know , but take a look at pages 121-123 of the manual.Follow this link to download the manual from Samsung.
