In win 7 it won't shows all RAM, mostly virtual and paging file uses it,don't worry your ram is fine.when cpu require high RAM usage it uses it.

SOURCE: RAM Upgrade for AcerPower F5

Just to make sure, you are UPgrading the RAM aren't you, it originally has 1GB in it, didn't it? Because i Hate people that change things when it is unnecessary.
But you are right it helps to look at the little label on the RAM you took out as to what kind to get, try to get the same speed will probably guarantee it will work.

Acerpower f2 bios beep codes

The beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk and remains active until turned off.

make sure that your RAM modules and Cmos battery sockets are clean and dust free and the ram modules are securely seated in some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection

and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?

one bad lead will end with a computer error a computer needs its connections continue its cycle and have an end to function properly

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly

hope this helps

Asus P5KPL SE & Sata, Bios "Not Detected Problem"..

The Asus bios won't show SATA devices.
However if you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (or newer operating system then the devices should be detected. If this is not happening then enter the bios -- Storage Configuration -- Configuration Enhanced and set the IDE devices to compatible. This allows all drives to be "seen" and you should then be able to load an OS.

Won't boot and doesn't even get to BIOS

You definitely have a hardware issue so you need to go through a process of elimination to figure out what it is.

1) try another video card (if you are using a video card)
2) try your on-board video (if you have it)
3) take a look at your motherboard to see if any capacitors look bulged
4) try another power supply (although the computer is getting power, it might not be getting "good" power)

Usually if it is the memory you will at least get a beep. This sounds like it is probably your mobo if it isn't your video card.

How to fit more ram

Hi,
go into the bios.
You should have a setting that says Single channel or dual channel. Usually on the first page of bios.
If the problem persists, without being able to set the bios configuration. put 1 stick of ram in bank 1, and 1 stick of ram in bank 2.
