This range is in a rental I own and as I was cleaning the house for a new tenant I noticed that the oven light wouldn't turn on. I assumed it was a burned out bulb and tried to unscrew it. As I was unscrewing it, it kept blinking on and off as if it was a bad electrical connection. Once I had screwed the bulb enough to get it to stay on, I couldn't get it to turn off by the switch and I had to screw it around again to get it to turn off. Can you help me?

Remove the glass bulb cover in the back of the oven by screwing it out counter-clockwise.

Make sure that the oven door is closed when you start the Self Clean cycle. Check the door switch to see if it is apparently operating properly. Open the oven door and the oven light should turn on. Press in the door switch plunger and the light should turn off. If the light switch is not operating properly, it could cause this type of problem.
If the light switch is operating properly, then you could have a failed door latch assembly. A wiring failure or a problem with the control board could also cause this failure. I recommend that you unplug the range and access the door latch assembly at the back of the range. Pull the upper and lower back panels off of the range. Caution: The edges on these panels can be sharp. Protective gloves are recommended. With the panels off, check the wire harness connections on the door latch assembly.
