Where are the select and option buttons on my frigidare afinity

The Headlamps On at Exit and Perimeter Lighting modes can be adjusted using the steering wheel controls to select the wanted function as displayed in the driver information center. The Headlamps On at Exit selection will allow the driver to customize the period of time that the headlamps remain illuminated upon exiting the vehicle. This period can be adjusted from 0 seconds to 180 seconds. The Perimeter Lighting feature allows the driver to select if they want the headlamps and backup lamps to illuminate when the door UNLOCK button on the key fob is activated. This feature can be turned ON or OFF by using the driver information center steering wheel control buttons.

1.Login as the System Administrator or Key Operator.
2.Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. The Machine Status screen will be displayed.
3.Select the [Tools] tab on the Touch Screen.
4.Select the [System Settings] button.
5.Select the [Common Service Settings] option from the Group section.
6.Select the [Audio Tones] option from the Features section.
7.Select the required option to configure or modify, and then select [Change Settings] button.
8.Select the required audio tone. Audio tone options include: [Off], [Soft], [Normal], [Loud].
9.Select the [Save] button.
10.If necessary, repeat steps 7 - 9 to configure each option.
11.Select the [Close] button.
12.Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. An "Are you sure you want to logout?" message will be displayed.
13.Select the [Logout] button on the Touch Screen.

Suggestion: Besides the big power button, there is another start button almost similar. First you press the big button, then you select your water level, time, load, etc. When this is done you press the smaller button with a vertical mark, something like an exclamation mark. Possibly stuck on defrost... locate the defrost timer and turn the timer dial... the fridge should come on.... but you still need to replace the timer

OPTION SELECT MODE

Option Select Mode (XTR-255/260/330)

Press the Menu button to enter Option Select

Mode. Each press of the Menu button changes

to the next selectable feature.

The Dark (D) button and the Quiet (Q) button

turns the feature ON/OFF or Blinking. The decimal

point illumination indicates whether a feature

is on or off. A button must be pressed within

20 seconds or Option Select Mode will automatically

be exited.

The fisrt option is VG-2, the second option is the Periscops (which you want to turn off) and hte third is the blue LEDs in the display.

Step 5 your error code information is in the TECH DATA file there you can perform a full system check PLEASE READ ALL WARNINGS POSTED
Step 6 save all PDF files to a new folder name it FRIGIDARE for easy availbility for printing and viewing.
