This printer prints off the left side of the page. It is like as if the margin for a 8.5" x 11" page was set to maybe 9". When I print a Word document, it prints to the very edge of the page, and then drops several characters at the end of every line. See http://i.imgur.com/13ZmmiC.jpg?1
When I print a series of 1.00" square boxes (8 across) from Corel Designer, they print 1.00 inch height, but about 1 1/16" wide, with the far right box disappearing off the page. An other printer prints the squares exactly 1.00" square (measured with a calipers), as well as leaving a margin on the right. This is a photo of the page with a ruler on it, showing the problem. When the problem showed up, we tried an old toner cartridge in the hopes that it was the cartridge, but it shows the same problem with the three old cartridges we have - so I know it's not the cartridge.
You're Registration is off. This is an adjustment that must be done in the Diagnostic mode of the printer. You're better off getting an actual tech who knows how to make this adjustment. You can move the image left/right and top/bottom. Can mess things up bad if you don't know what you're doing.
After successfully updating your printer, run the Deep Clean Printhead function on your printer.Press the Setup button > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.
If you're still having problem, please scan and email us a test page (Setup button > Maintenance > Print Test Page) to [email protected].

By spacing, I assume you mean the margins at the centre.
The default margin settings are not the same for the right and left hand side of the page, so the printing on the reverse side is offset from the printing on the first side.
The right margin is always wider to allow for punch holes in file paper.
It is not the printer settings you need to adjust, it is the page layout of your word processing software.
Adjust the margin settings manually. In MS Office 2007:
go to settings and change the left margin to 0.0. if in Word, then file->page setup and set the margins to what you want, left margin to 0.0 in your case.
I assume this error is occuring in Microsoft Word.
Create a new document, with a full page of the label you are having trouble printing.
To see the margin settings of your document, go to File > Page Setup (or Page Layout > Margins > Custom Margins for Word 2007).
Click OK on the margins dialog, and Word will check the settings against your currently selected printer. If a margin is set outside the printable area (usually the bottom margin set to zero), you should see the warning message.
Click the Fix button to have Word change the margins to match your printer. You should now see the Margins dialog with the new margin settings.
Click OK.
One thing to watch for- on some inkjet printers, the printable area is narrower than the labels. This will cause the labels to shift to the right on the page and be misaligned when you print. If the labels run off the right edge of the page display, or are misaligned when you print, an extra procedure is needed.
Undo ([Ctrl]+[Z]) the new margin setting, or create a new page from the label template again.
Select the entire table of labels ([Ctrl]+[A]).
Right-click the table, and select Table Properties.
Click the Text wrapping "Around" option, then the Positioning button.
Change the Horizontal position to Center, Relative to Page. Uncheck the "Move with text" option. Click OK to the Table Positioning dialog, then click OK to the Table Properties dialog.
Left-click (or press an arrow key) to "deselect" the table, then go into the margins dialog (see above) and allow Word to fix the margin settings again.
With the labels aligned to the page, rather than the margins, the new margin settings should not cause the labels to shift.
Once you have the margins set correctly for your printer, I would save the empty page of labels to use as a "template".
Check you Page Setup andmargin set. Sounds like the page isn't set up properly. When you typing a document, go to the FILE then PAGE SETUP. Margins and Paper Layout. Hope this helps. Bud
Problem---Printer prints email on the very edge of the paper and leaves off the first 3 letters of every word down the edge of that margin. If you have Windows Live Mail forget trying to fix it from there. Clicking File will not give you the page setup option you are looking for. Go to the bottom of the screen, click "all programs", look for and click "Internet Explorer", click File, click "page setup". A screen comes up in which you can change the margins. The left margin is probably set on .25. Change it to .75. Okay. Go back and run a test email.
Do you mean the left margin is too large so all the content is shifted to the right and off the page?
If this is the case, it is probably a setting in Pagemaker. In the file menu, choose "page setup" or "print setup". Check the paper size. Check the margins.
