check the mode shifter? can u run an error code diagnostic as the shifter cannot be meter tested to see if defective? other wise u may have a bad timer with burnt point contacts. or a bad harness and or motor control board. this is why you really need to put it in diagnostic mode
It sounds as if you need to replace the timer. The reset motor is separate from the primary motor--that is why one type of "cycle"--diagnostic-- seems to work but the regular cycle(s) do not.
Check your lid switch. A bad lid switch will kill the spin and some models other things check this first. Can you see or hear if the motor is running? If the motor is running check the coupler from the motor to the transmisson. If the motor is not running the motor may be bad or not getting power. Hope this helps.
If the machine is filling and washing but not advancing then the timer mechanism is not fuctioning. There is no codes so all other parts must be working, likke the pressure switch. You might test the door or lid switch this can sometimes hang these up. to test simply jump across the switch with a jumper wire. Basically
If the washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer does not advance, the timer probably needs to be replaced
If the timer does not advance while the washer is in a spin cycle, the timer probably needs to be replaced
I am supplying the service manual for this machine. Please be careful when attempting any repair and always make sure the machine is unplugged before starting any repair. This manual include service guides for testing components as well if your capable of these tests. The link will lead you to the manual. These manuals are not easy to come by due to the fact they are meant for service personell who make a living on these so it is inclusive and should help you in you issue.
Fyi. All new washing maching already tested on their functionality and features but not test run with water intake and drain function. I would like to share My experience last time with this model. The water outlet valve will release by motor when you set to drain mode.it suppose manage to retract back by spring when drain process finish or afte small you change to wash mode. Take a look on the spring movement.normally it not properly hold valve switch hence the retracted spring not block the valve to stop water drain. Just rectify the alignment of the valve swich which directly connected to the retractable spring.
hi, reading your posting it tells me that the machine will fill on traditional wash but on auto fill mode it pumps the water out at the same time it is filling. i"m pretty sure it is your diverter . on auto fill mode it fills a little bit then the pump comes on and recirculates your water by pumping the water from the bottom of the bowl to the top of the bowl over the clothes. on auto fill mode it also activates the diverter to pump the water back to the bowl. on your machine the diverter is stuck in the drain out position so when it trys to recirculate the water it drains out the water instead . the problem could be a faulty diverter, control module or a broken wire.hope this helps, please reply if you need more help. good luck.
hi thanks for the question it looks like a problem with the transmission but only if afer the water fills the tub the motor starts running if te motor docent start after its full look for a timer problem . so if motor runs on wash cycle and no spin transmission problem thanks the appliance doc please rate me.
Check the inlet screens on both sides of the pipes. (Plug off the wall first) Open your inlet full before wash. Check outlet filter to clean out, check to see if any debris in pump. Is this machine second hand? If so you can download a manual.......
