I had a thread jam, took care of that. Saw that E5 was showing on screen. I don't know what that is, but at that time I reset it and started sewing only to find out that my back stitch wasn't working. Is this something I can reset or fix myself?
SOURCE: thread constantly wraps around spool pin
Cut a round curcle of fabric the size of the spool from a piece of felt. Put a hole in the middle and put it under the spool of thread. If this does not work you can purchase a small net that fits over the spool. It is designed to keep the thread from coming off the spool except for being pulled through naturally.
Hope this works.

I had the same problem.. I think the bobbin used in this machine is no good I replaced mine.. It cost alot too.. but now I do not have any problems.. good luck
SOURCE: NEEDLE KEEPS COMING UNTHREADED WILL NOT CATCH IN FABRIC
Make sure you are threading the machine correctly and it has the proper tension. Also check the bobbin the thread has to go thru the little lash
SOURCE: stitching loose. won't thread the fabric
try to rethread the machine all the way back to the spool of thread and check the top and bottom tensions on scrap of same fabric
SOURCE: Shirring fabric?
When putting your shirring elastic on the bobbin, don't thread the elastic through the bobbin holder,adjust the stitch length longer,and loosen the tension, other wise if you want to put it through the bobbin holder you have to loosen the tension screw on the bobbin holder, and then you have to adjust it back for ordinary sewing,
The start/stop button was pressed while the foot controller
was connected.
Disconnect the foot controller,
and then press the start/
stop button. Otherwise,
operate the machine by
using the foot controller.
Hope this helps.
