Where is the safety Switch in the Jack Lalanne juicer express?

The safety switch is on the bottom base where the pulp collection bin goes. If you look on the pulp collection bin there is a small tab that when assembled right deactivates the safety switch. The main arm that holds the top container where you put the produce in is also a safety mechanism that when not in place the machine will not turn on.

My jack Lalanne juicer just suddenly stopped working.

Mine stopped working after only a few uses. It turns out that the safety microswitch button wasn't being depressed. The little button on the bottom of the pulp collector had broken off. (Image #1) I put a 1/4 inch piece of a shishkabob skewer in the hole before putting the pulp collector on. (image #2) It works fine now. It's still safe. The motor will not start unless the pulp collector (receptacle) is in place and locked in. Be sure to unplug the machine before doing this. 3717db6c-91bc-41ee-b452-1ed06578f280.jpgjack-lalanne-juicer-just-rgzqoe2q2f3mnxiw25vk3yhi-4-2.jpg

It wont turn on. i have changed the fuse but still nothing help

Devices these days are safety-ed up the whazzoo (technical term)
The safety catches and hardware all must be correct for these devices to work.
It is possible that a keeper or stationary lock of somekind is still installed preventing the machine from working.
Check the outlet to insure you have power there.
Insure all of the covers are in place and then insure a catch is provided for the output.
Failing all that, return it.

Don't know how to set up Jack lalanne power juicer

First, check that the switch is in the on position. Then, check that all parts are assembled properly. The unit has a built-in safety device that will not let the motor turn on if not assembled properly. The Power Juicer also has a built-in Thermal Cut Off Safety Switch. If the machine was running, then shut down due to accidental overheating, then there is a 10 minute cooling time before the machine will restart. This helps to protect the motor from seizing. My UNIT-does nOt operate at all.

Hey if you have not gotten this resolved already, here are some things to consider.
I have the same unit. It will not operate is any little thing is left undone. So, I would recheck all of the assembly to make sure all the attachments are properly and securely attached.  The last part to check which seems rather minute, but will prevent the unit from working, is to check that the pulp catcher is securely snapped in. There is a small lip at the bottom that must clik in just right for the unit to kick on the switch is pressed.  Once the metal arm is in place, give it a whirl.... and let see what happens.
Hope this helps..
Let me know.

Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

The pulp collection receptacle has a tiny clear plastic button on the bottom. If this has broken off (it happens often) the machine won't turn on. The button must be present to depress the safety switch at the bottom of the machine. If everything else is properly assembled and the machine won't turn on, this is probably the cause. Check the bottom of the pulp collection receptacle to see if the button has broken off. (picture #2) If so, replace it with a piece of pasta or a tiny piece of wood. Sounds silly, but it works. The safety switch at the bottom of the machine must be depressed before the machine will run.

Darn thing STILL won't turn on

There is a little knob on pulp collector that pushes in a switch, probably to assure the unit is assembled before operation. Mine broke off. I opened bottom of unit and used electrical tape to permanently engage the switch. The Juicer now works. I consider it poor construction that such an important part of the operation of the unit is able to break off and poor customer relations that there is no help for this on their web site. I have used it only a handful of times and the unit has mostly been in storage and has not been abused.

Just stopped working

I am sorry I might not be able to explain in English very well, but I hope it will help somebody.
In my case, the pulp container was a problem.
when you take out the container, do you see the little(very very small )hole that if you push with something like toothpic it makes sound like "click, click"? I guess when we put the pulp container back, the container is supposed to push the safety button ( bottom area), but I think the part of the container that push the button was broken, and it didn't start,so I just put something small inside the hole before I put the container back to the juicer, so it covers the missing part.
Their customer service doesn't help at all, I waited 1h to talk to somebody, and he couldn't help me. so please check that part.
