This popup is a sign of a malware infection on your system. You can use ctrl+alt+ del to bring up the task manager, open the processes tab, and locate the pc.exe and agent.exe processes. Select them, right click and end process for each. That should temporarily get rid of the popup. (See link here, and here, but please don't follow the instructions given there to delete files, etc. Just kill the processes and use the following tools.)
Now you'll need to do some cleanup to remove the offending program from your system before you reboot.
Go to this link and follow the first 4 steps of the malware removal guide. Make sure to update MBAM before you scan, and make sure you follow through all 4 steps before restarting your computer. If you want detailed info on how to run the MBAM, as well as a good description of how you got this virus, click here. Then restart your system and see how it runs. I'd advise an indepth scan with your antivirus program to check for further problems, but that should take care of the privacy center rogue.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Power connection to computer came out during shutdown yesterday. Today, turning on, it will not boot up.

You are going to need a clean boot up disk. You will have to get one mailed to you or you will have to use another computer to download one. This will get you back into a point that you can do a windows restore. This is going to get rid of all programs and start you fresh. I do, however, feel that you disk drive is going out or already shot. You should do a Chkdsk on it. (check disk). This will tell you if it is a hard drive error or not.

Hi! i have a acer aspire one, everytime i switch my laptop on it pops up with a privacy center and i cant get rid of it?

Privacy Center, or PrivacyCenter, is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to trick users into purchasing its full rogue version. Privacy Center looks similar to Privacy Components. Privacy Center may infect your computer through a Trojan, spam emails or it may have come bundled with another malicious program. Privacy Center sells itself as an effective spyware remover tool, however, all it does is make you believe you're infected with numerous spyware threats to offer its "licensed" program.

Go to the link below and download and run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware program. When it installs it will ask to update and run, please do both. Once it updates, run the program and perfrom a QUICK scan only. When it is through scanning it will ask you to click on the show results button. When you do that it will show you the infections it has found, make sure they are all selected and delete them. You should be malware free now.
