Hi!I have a problem with my CLJ 2600n. A few wekks ago I cleaned the mirrors and the plastics in the laser assembly because of the fading magenta problem. That wasn't any problem, but 1 week ago I detected an other problem in my printed pages. http://kepfeltoltes.hu/view/140213/this_001_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg (A4) How you can see the magenta is wavy , i see two lines in the cyan the yellow is okay(or i cant see), but the black goes to light balck or green in the right side.I cleaned 5 times again, checked all parts, there is no problem with the laser assembly. If i print A5 or A6 pages the printed colors are okay. Any solution? Thanks a lot!

Same problem with my HP Color (Colour) LaserJet 2605dn. I took apart the printer and found the mirrors inside the optic box all covered in dust. A clean with a cotton bud (Q-Tip) solved the problem.
I took lots of photos of my solution and put them on my website, if you're interested. Don Thompson's pdf file (see other posting here) is also a good source of info on the problem and solution.

Firstoff, if you have tray 1 set to "any size" & "any type" they had problems with it going into calibration to frequently. If you upgrade the firmware this will take care of that. As for no Cyan, check the scanner interlock to insure it is opening the scanner cover. You could also go into diagnostics and disable cartridge check and swap the cartridges around, ie. cyan & magenta, run the print quality pages and see if the problem follows the cartridge. It could also be HV power supply.

Hi Mmgrafde,
Press the Go and Rotate Carousel buttons simultaneously. This will calibrate the printer. See if this works.
Otherwise....Remove all cartridges and drum. Switch off printer. Close the lid. Switch on printer and wait until any churning stops. Insert the drum and close the lid. Wait until any churning stops. Put in one cartridge at a time, closing the lid and wait till it stops churning each time. With the last cartridge put in, it will churning longer (calibrating). Try to print from your computer.
It could also be that the toner could actually have run out for the other colors.

Are you sure that none of the other colours are empty? If they are then this could be the problem
