The TOUR V3 can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located in the lower right portion of the LCD. To select between yards and meters, press and hold the POWER/FIRE button. The display will begin to cycle through the setup options: Yards w/JOLT, Yards, Meters w/JOLT, Meters (for details on the JOLT feature, see "About JOLT"). When the units and JOLT mode you want to use are displayed, release the POWER/FIRE button to select it. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the M for meter indicator while the Y for Yard indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite will occur. The TOUR V3 will return to the last unit of measure setting used each time the unit is turned on.

Bushnell Tour v3 laser rangefinder will not display yardage

Hi,

Please shutdown your device for 5 minutes, booot up and then check for yardage again. If this does not work, then you might look into the device manual (in troubleshooting) to check for an alternative approach to fixing this. Thank you.

Can you repair digital display inside the rangefinder?

Yes. I fixed my dim LCD inside the rangefinder (Bushnell Tour v3 Jolt), by opening it up and reconnecting all the ribbon cables.

Previously, the display numbers were dim, and I often could not read the last digit.

To fix, you need to pull away the rubber grip around the device. It may take some force, and I did rip my grip in a couple of places, so be careful. Then it reveals the screws. There are also screws under the grip at the top of the device. As I won't be pulling it apart again, I superglued it back together. If I anticipated that I would open it up in future, I'd probably use something less permanent, like silicon.

Jacuzzi start/run capacitator what does it do

to develop the start torque needed to run a two hp or more motor a capacitator is used to temperarly boost the power up(faster than a human can do it) so that motor gets a short extra jolt of power so it can start to turn , unfortuniatly these "caps" dry out in a few seasons from all the heat they make in use and no longer give that "Jolt" needed motor fails to start to move and they require replacement to makeit right again

Buschnell

If the jolt (vibration) doesn't work on your Bushnell V3, follow the instruction steps to change the unit of measure. (On the initial screen, hold down the "POWER/FIRE button, and it will cycle through your choices.) It flashes 3 times on each option. The first option is "Yards w/JOLT" even though the choice is abbreviated on the screen. Per the instructions, by releasing the POWER/FIRE button, you select your option. Wait until the 2nd flash on this choice to release the POWER/FIRE button, and the JOLT feature will be turned back on. (On mine, it didn't work by letting go on the first flash.)

My bushnell wasnpt working great this morning and then it stopped. I replaced the battery and it still doesn't work. I'll replace the batteries with new ones soon but was wondering if there is something...

The Bushnell Tour V2 is notorious for suddenly stopping operating. Normally, if I slap the sides it starts working again. This has happened many times. However, two days ago it quit working again and I have slapped the **** out of it and it still doesn't work. I have checked the batteries and they are great. Try slapping. If someone out there knows something else that will help me, please let me know.

Final drive knocking/jolting

Does the engine's sound working follows this jolting or it does nothing to do with it?If you close your eyes can you hear the jolting (not as a metal sound but as an engine's hick up)?
