Factory reset bc246t - Uniden BC246T Handheld Scanner

Try looking for the reset button and re-initializing the scanner in this manual online.

To reset, cut the power off, then hold down 9 2 and hold button at the same time while turning the power back on..it will read clear. Hope this helps.

You will be better of to send it back and let the factory do it...I had the same with a scanner and it drove me crazy.....sorry. [If you have to try/Radio shak]
