Mine also was slow to heat because the most used lower element (Bake) was not working. No voltage on the two terminals to the element. (Used the Power off, Hold COOK TIME while power back on, then within 30 seconds you can press each mode and turn on just that element for test purposes.) Traced back to the relay that controls that element and although it clicked, it was not transferring power through the relay to the "out" terminal. Removed the board to replace it and found a cold solder joint on the "out" terminal pin. Cleaned the carbon from the obvious arcing when it was intermittently working and applied solder. Works fine now. WHY THE SLOW HEAT: All elements go on for preheat and then when the Beep sounds just the element you selected as bake or convection maintains the heat. Your oven stayed in a continuous preheat if you selected the "dead or malfunctioning element since it would cool and start preheat again.

On my Dacor oven whenever I use the self cleaning feature it trips the breaker and the oven doesn't heat up. It can be reset, but you need to take off the front panel and reach way back for the red reset button.

SOURCE: dacor oven ECPS127S will not heat after self clean

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.

SOURCE: bottom oven of dacor double oven

I found the lower circuit breaker had been tripped. That didn't fix the problem but upon further inspection whoever had worked on the unit years ago had dropped a screwdriver that had lodged between the oven wall and the rear casing and shorted out the lower heating element. I removed the screwdriver and oven works fine now. I don't think that will solve the cmmclow problem but maybee the curcuit breaker is tripped.

My dacor microwave convection oven won't turn or heat but but the exhaust, time etc. works.

I found the answer on other posts on this website and it saved me $500! I had the same problem with my Dacor Model ECD2278 double oven. After I ran the self cleaning the top oven would not come on and the lower oven ran almost double the temp that was set. To fix: disconnect power to the oven at the circuit breaker. Open the oven door. You'll see the grille/grate/steel cover in front of the door latch mechanism, and it should have about 4 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws then remove the grille cover. On my model the tiny red reset button was on the right side on top of a black plastic round piece which is about 1" in diameter. Press the little button down til it clicks.

Dacor oven beeps and shows F1 code

-F1- Alarm “System Watchdog Circuit”
The system will detect a failure in the internal watchdog element relay circuits and will activate a
cancel feature. F1 will be displayed in the time digits and will beep until the cancel button or another
function is selected. An F1 failure could be detected in cook or time of day mode. With an F1 failure
the ERC is picking up a command to supply heat without receiving an input from the membrane. The
watch dog circuit is designed to prevent this.
If the beep continues after pressing cancel check the main control (ERC)

My dacor oven model ECS130SBK is very slow to heat. Sometimes reaching the desired temp. after a long wait. Sometimes it never gets there.

I found the bottom element was not getting any power by using a volt/ohmmeter and a test method described elsewhere. (Shut off power, hold down COOK TIME while turning on power. then within 30 seconds press each mode you want to test and only that element/fan/etc will turn on. Cancels by itself after 30 sec.)

I traced the wire back to the relay (wire checked good) and there was no power getting through the relay although it clicked. Removed the relay board to replace it and found a cold solder joint on the "out" terminal with obvious past arcing carbon. Cleaned and soldered the pin and the oven now works normally.
WHY THE SLOW TO HEAT? The oven turns on all the elements to preheat faster and when it reaches your set temp it beeps and now only turns on the element you selected to maintain the temperature. (Bake or Convection) Our malfunctioning ovens would then cool since the element is not working properly and it must go back into preheat and keep cycling.
BY THE WAY- Don't ever use 4 hours on self clean it kills the boards and/or display. I also put a house fan in front of the oven and blow it into the lower grill to take away some of the heat on the two boards. Learned the hard way!

Dacor single oven flashes an F2 error code and won't stop beeping!!!

This is from manufacture service manual:

-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.

My Dacor wont heat, broil or convection after self cleaning. No heat but everything else works The bake, broil, and convection elements on my Dacor CPS130 electric wall oven will not heat.  The oven has...

like another person stated-from the front behind the door, take off the 6 screws and the cover by the latch. there is an "oven hi temp limit switch" It is crome with 2 heavy black wires connected to it. On the back side of this is a small red button which will reset the limit switch. I had the same issue (everything worked except the any of the heating elements) and quickly resolved.
