Sylvania LC225SSX LCD TV - There is no sound. i have muted and unmuted. what is the problem and how can I fix it?

maybe one of the buttons you pushed was the mute button. try to unmute.

It sounds that the memory IC haven't stored any data after scanning. Just do a re-scan, and check. If it do not help you, the main system control memory IC to your TV need replacement. Comcast cable remote has no setup codes with Sylvania brand TVs.

well i have the same the proble with my sylvania plaza t.v however when i plugg it in into the socket the red light blinks then the green light comes on but then it just turns off completley...and the red light is still on ? is there a way to fix this problem or is the t.v permently broken??

Targa 32" LCT TV, No picture/ sound only can hear clicking sound from Kisan KP-301R Power supply board. Have checked output voltages and they are a little out i.e. 16v instead of 17.5v and 10.5v instead of 12v.

Has SAMWHA capacitors but cannot see any bulging or leakage anywhere like other users have suffered so dont know if changing all the caps will solve the issue.

Before it finally went dead LCD TV would switch itself off after some time and just a few days before it dies it started the clicking sound but would then start up okay.

Whenever I hear "green screen" it is a loose or faulty HD cable(s).

Check your HD connections to make sure they are inserted fully and if there is no change, try an alternate cable.
