Quantum Turbo Battery pack not enough power.

I have a Canon 5D, with the Canon 580 SpeedliteII, Quantum Turbo battery pack. After shooting a 10 hr. wedding the lcd lights are all fully lit up. My exposures using are underexposed, the lcd lights stay fully lit, however 'go down' as an exposure is taken. The red light is flickering all the time when on. I have camera set to cn12 to 1 as recommended by Quantum, had the battery cells replaced, charge it after every shoot. I'm at my wits end. It does not seem to be drawing power from the pack. Please help-- i'm in the throws of wedding season and don't want to have to buy a whole new pack-- thank you!!!! Diana

Load 4AA with Energizer Lithium Batteries.
Set 580EX II's function to 12-0 and 05-0.
Make sure 5D's is not set to HSS.
No white dome parked on flash.
No bounce.
Set camera to "M" with max sync if you like, but 60 is fine.
Set F-Stop no greater than F5.6
Set ASA/ISO no lower than 200 but not over 1000.

If you need more assistance, contact Alzo Digital, CT, USA.
Asks for service & repair from ATG.

My canon 580 EX II stops firing even with new batteries

You must disable the 580EX II form using the 4AA.

4AA must be needed when using hv power pack.

Just let the 4AA use & display the LCD panel.

I purchased a Quantum Turbo sc battery pack charger and I am using a Canon 5D along with the Quantum Turbo sc battery charger. Batteries fully charged. Connections are correct and fitted tightly. All...

If you have the camera on continuous then it may be that the charging is not keeping up with the shutter. Check the recycle time on the flash and compare with the burst speed on the camera. The burst speed on the 5D is fairly rapid.

It wont power up at all. I have tried batteries,

1 - Check the battery contact and make sure the batteries in the flash are good.
2 - check the plug for the turbo, make sure it is not damaged, as well as, the high voltage plug on the 580 flash. If those contacts look dirty or mushroom shaped, you will nee the flash repaired.
3 - obviously make sure the turbo is charged
