I HAVE A SOTEC BRANDED PC.IT HAS SOME ISSUE IN ITS SOUND.MY PC HAS NO SOUND.WHILE ALL THE SOUND DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED AUTOMATICALLY.MY OS IS XP SP2.WHEN I CLICK VOLUME CONTROL IT SAYS: "THERE ARE NO ACTIVE MIXER DEVICES AVAILABLE.TO INSTALL MIXER DEVICES,GO TO CONTROL PANEL,CLICK PRINTER AND OTHER HARDWARE AND THEN CLICK ADD HARDWARE. THIS PROGRAME WILL NOW CLOSE."

I just fixed this problem on the 4120 for a friend, What I did was first to install the drivers from the Fujitsu site so XP was displaying all drivers as installed in Device manager.


Then I ran windows update to patch it up to date and then I downloaded the drivers from the wacom site.

Then choose tablet pc from the first drop down and then os (xp in my case) from the second drop down.
Reboot
Pen working!

Choose your model, OS, language.
Select Category=All Drivers.
From the list, download and (re-)install the driver and utility related to your device.
Don't forget to comply with the Install Instruction (beginning of the list) :
it indicates the correct drivers installation order.

if your installing windows 7 it will have all the touch screen drivers and such already built in, just a matter of enabling then in your control panel

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

This sounds like a downgrade and I strongly reccomend against that. the hardware is the issue, new hardware cannot be run by older OS. It is the drivers that would kill you. New OS work fine.
