i have an x543dn has a fuser error of 122.03 service fuser error, i just reset the factory defaults in the config menu and it cleared that error, to get to the config menu press and hold the tick button and the right arrow next to it then power up the machine and continue holding these until the menu is displayed then scroll through menu until you get to factory defaults select this then select reset base, hope this helps. A 900 Firmware error means that something has corrupted the code on your printer.
The easiest way to fix this is to go to www.lexmark.com > Support > Downloads and download the latest firmware for your printer.

you can reseat the fuser, and see if the message goes away. Or you will need to replace the actual fuser assembly. unfortunately you can't just remove/clear the error. see picture attached as this is what the fuser looks like
after you replace it let me know if you still receive the error.

The Service Fuser Error appears when the fuser does not warm to the required temperature. For this error on this Lexmark model, the manual states you should power off the printer and power it back on, and if it is not plugged into a wall power point, change it to a power point mounted directly on the wall. Personally, I never got a Lexmark printer to work doing this, but this is in the manual. If this won't help, and the printer is under warranty, you should log it in with the servicing company.
If the printer is out of warranty, your next option is to change the fuser which costs around $350, so I think you would be better off getting a new printer unless you find a second hand one on Ebay.
The 900 error usually indicates a software or communications problem. The first thing to check is the base printer.
Turn off the printer and disconnect every cable, except for the power cord.
Turn on the printer and see if the error returns.
If the error does not return, try to print a test page from the Test Menu.
If the test page prints correctly, the printer's hardware is most likely working correctly. The source of the problem is probably outside the base printer.
