I have this same problem with my computer. The only way I have been able to get sound back is to uninstall the drivers. It sucks because I have to re install them everytime I use my logitech camera. I have a HP laptop. I hope someone has a better solution.

You're saying that there's no sound coming on your computer or you lost the songs save on your computer?? If the problem is there's no sound coming from your computer make sure the sound device is working properly check it under device manager..
Dear Sir I am in the well known without a paddle my cd for my logitechguick cam pro 5ooo has been taken by my three year old grand daughter and now it is lost can you please help, my computr crashed and I would love to be able to put my web cam on so I can see other friends and relatives so please HELP if you can
