Hoses are smashed and water will not drain. The tub is sagging and I found a spring that was broken. There is a tube on the left and right that bend and sit against the tub. The look broken. I can't seem to find the correct name for them so I can order the part. I also can't figure out how to take them off the washer.

If you are talking about the inner spring that holds the door bellow to the tub, it's going to require two hands to get the spring to go back in the groove. You will need to carefully remove the bellow from the front opening of the door, first. On the 417 models, such as yours, the bellow is usually glued in place aorund the door frame and held in place by a spring to the tub. Use a putty knife to carefully peel the rubber form the washer facing. Once completed, you can glue it back in place with some appliance adhesive. To get the spring back in the groove on the tub facing, you will need to start at the top and have someone hold it on place as you work your way around the the tub. It's a real bear to get back in at times. Let me know if this helps you. Please post back if you have questions.

I removed the drain hose from the bottom left rear corner of the washer & cleaned a large amount of gooey sludge from the bottom of the drain inside the washing machine.
