I have a 2003 nissa altima, car was last used lastnight, i tried to start my car this morning and it will not crank.(all lights/sounds on the interior of the car go off when i turn the ignition). After that, i am unable to arm/disarm the alarm system. If i continue to shut the door the alarm will eventually go off and i can then disarm it. I put the key back in the ignition, the lights/sounds on the interior of the car comes back on, I turn the key and everything goes dead again. I've tried the valet mode on/off, stood outside the car and armed/disarmed the system several times(when its working) and im still unable to crank my car.

yes this is aknownprobplem to Scorpion (Toad), you will need to use relays on the trigger wires
SOURCE: viper alarm keypad will beep for 30 seconds every time I arm or disarm
Change the battery, 2-way remotes require 2 slim batteries on top of one another. Regular remotes only require 1.
SOURCE: I have an Avital Tornado car alarm - it will arm
check on the bulldog security website for vehicle wiring color coding and discriptions. And the manufature web site for the units wiring outputs.
