Looking for the size of screws for JVC TV stand
SOURCE: ps3 connection to jvc tv
Is the tv an lcd or a crt? and how are you connecting it with composite (red white and yellow) component (red blue green white red) or hdmi? if through composite or component is the ps3 set on the right connection? if through hdmi is your tv HDCP compliant? if not than it prob won't work till you do the firmware updates on your ps3 via a broadband connection. if it still does not work than you won't be able to connect it to that tv only to a tv (and surprise surpirse all sony lcds are HDCP compliant) that is HDCP. it normally says in the instruction manual. Unfortunatly HDMI connection is not the godsend they said it would be. if the device does not immediatly talk to what you are pluggin it into than you are going to have problems

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.

Do you mean the JVC Logo keeps appearing?
If so, call JVC for the software update. I believe it may even be posted on their site. You can check in the TV menu to verify. You should have F108 or higher.
If the update doesnt apply, you need a Digital PWB for the TV because it is defective.
SOURCE: Newer Jvc tv wont turn on
1. hold the [vol-] and [menu] button.
2. while holding those, press the [power] button and let go of the [power]button only
3. wait 5 seconds then let go of [vol-] and [menu]
4. wait for a while(approx 30secs).....do you get a picture
This works for the JVC models that end in "9" and end in "0"

There is a way to reset television. I have a jvc 42inch that was just going to main logo screen and not beyond it. If i remember correctly you unplug the tv hold power button for 5 sec on tv then let go plug in and start. If that dont work unplug and then plug and hold power button on tv for 5 sec. It is 1 of those combinations. My tv worked after that. I googled my problem and a website listed that some tvs need to be reset.
