I have the Bose Lifestyle 12 series with the double speaker cubes that swivel. One of the speakers got knocked over by my son and it came apart were is swivels. I try to push them together but, the swivel keeps pushing back into the top speaker so I can't get it to go back into the bottom. Any suggestions?
Carefully unsnap the speaker cover you may want to use a jewelers screwdriver or a small flat tip to assist with getting it off. Once its off unscrew the 4 screws completely and then carefully wiggle the speaker from he cube. Once the speaker is out of the way reach in the cube and reset the plastic coupling so its flush with the inside top of the cube. With both cubes on there sides and the rubber washer and swivel ring in place press the bottom cube, with your finger(s) inside the cube on the plastic couping, up into th top cube until you here or feel it snap into place. Once it snaps into place, adjust the insulation in the speaker then wiggle the speaker back into the cube and carefully put the screws back in. Once this is accomplished snap the speaker coverback on and that's it. It takes ten minutes once you get the speaker cover off.
Plastic adhesive could work. The only problem is that once this adheres together, you probably won't be able to swivel the speaker for a different setup. Otherwise, Bose can repair or replace this speaker. I think the cost of non-warranty repair may be around the same as the cost of a replacement speaker ($60-$75). It's flat-rate, so it doesn't matter what the problem is. I'm assuming this was purchased more than 5 years ago, which puts the speakers out of warranty. (the system has a 1-year, speakers have a 5-year) I hope this helps.
This response laid it out perfectly. Huskernewton's son knocked over one of my Bose satellites too.
On the repair, maybe one small clarification. I wouldn't have needed to open up the top cube. I think I could have done it only opening up the bottom cube. But still, like markc3 said, 10 minues and good as new.
I have the same problem. However, there are no screws holding in the speaker. Any thoughts?

Newer models eliminated screws at corners for super-glue. Gently separate the speaker frame from shell housing using ultra-thin screwdriver. Once loose, gently leverage the speaker out of the housing and proceed with remainder of original post for final repair steps. Happy Listening.. {;>)
