I brought a rapide ultra carpet washer today , cleaned half of my front room brilliant then stopped spraying water using the trigger on the handle, as the handle comes off for easy storage I took it off, and what\'s happing is when you pull the trigger to release water a piece of plastic pushes on another piece ov plastic to release water and it was not working only by me pushing my finger on the other piece of plastic in side the handle bit, so mines going back ,
I have just managed to fix the problem i had with my vax rapide not releasing water. I also tried tilting it and that did not work. I unscrewed the brush from the base of the carpet washer and there is a black plastic strip with holes in where the water comes out of and onto the carpet. I used a needle to unblock these tiny holes which had become blocked after the last use. I now have it working again.

I have a vax rapide carpet washer was using earlier and blew my trip switch noticed that the filter is falling to bits do you think it can be repaired?
