SOURCE: black lines down and accross the screen

black lines on the end from one end to other can mean a problem with the display. To be sure, switch off your phone. Wait for a couple of minutes. Turn it on. If it is still there and has not changed position, get it to a service station

Thin horizontal black line on lcd monitor

It sounds like the light has gone out at that point on the screen, you're going to have to replace the LCD monitor itself.

Have thin vertical black lines accross the screen

You have a defective optical engine. The symptom usually shows lines separated by about an inch vertically across the screen. It may be worth your time to call Samsung consumer relations and see if they will incur some of the cost.

My sony Ericsson C902 screen has two black lines running accross the screen. I did drop it about 2 months ago but it was fine afterwards and since that I have not dropped it again. The lines were there...

Damage takes time especially water damage. I suggest getting a new phone because over the next month chances are against you that the phone screen will fully black out. Get a new phone as soon as you can. Not having a screen sucks, trust me! I hope I helped you out! Good Luck!

I have a black line accross my LCD t.v. screen

if it is a thin black line then it is probably a line of pixels out. if this is the case, the whole screen will have to be replaced and that can get pricey. i would suggest that you get it checked out by a tv tech and get an estimate, but it'll probably be cheaper to just get a new one

Thin horizontal line accross screen

if the screen is totally black and only white horizontal line appear on the screen, check the vertical section if there is supply voltage on the vertical IC, and if there is none check the source of some open resistor connected to that IC. if there is supply voltage check all electrolytic capacitors connected in that vertical IC and it is better to replaced them all they are very cheap. and if it is still not working replace the vertical IC. post some comments if it is still not working and let see what we can do..

Projectors

Hi there

This would mean that your Projector is still under warranty.

The problem you are describing is a faulty Mainboard - which fortunatelly for you is covered under warranty.

Line accross top of the screen with flashing black and white boxes

Thin white dashes on top of screen is PERFECTLY NORMAL. It is nothing wrong with the TV, it is the broadcast. What you are seeing is the very bottom of the timecode running. It doesn't happen all of the time or all channels. It usually happens with old 4:3 commercials predating "Digital TV." This is mentioned in your Users Manual. You should be able to adjust the horizontal/vertical position in the menu settings.
