Kenmore HE3t frontload washer does not run. when

5yr old kenmore HE3t frontload washer does not run. when you first plug it in the time display just reads 888, if you wait acouple of minutes all the lights on the control panel go on and it starts buzzing.

My Kenmore HE3T Washer keeps doing F21 - drain
“F21” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

Kenmore Elite F02 code even after changing to a new pump.
remove compartment cover under the front load door. There is a drain there that will catch large items left in your clothes, ie pens paper etc

Check out your outlet filter, access from the front bottom right. Next open up behind to check the pump area, also the tube which comes down from the tub. There should be some blockage somewhere. Plug off the wall first. Your need a good grip plier to release the grip clamps. Perhaps you could change to front loading powders?
