I have cleaned the maker several times and I still have the problem. When I went to disassemble the unit to review if any internal parts may be clogged I found screws on the bottom that had a special fastener head that is similar to a phillips, but not a torx.
How may I remove these screws?
Thank you,
Robert
I looked like mine. I see one that has a triangular hole in it. you might try a set of security screw bits if you can find one with that shape.
since it is like a pan head and has sides you can get to, I agree with tzar, use needle nose pliers or channel lock locking needle nose pliers. the 6LN model is my favorite tool.
if it not clogged then the thermal switch might be bad
I used a pair of needle nose pliers to grip the outside of the head of the screw.
