Comm ports Comm 1 in use comm 3 not working

five pin /4 pin? (white D-104?)
five pin= 1-audio,2-shield,3-RX,4-comm,5-TX
4 pin=1-shield-comm,2-audio,3-TX,4-RX

Probably a weak breaker in your fuse panel try different outlet

final solution: v4mpire_unlocker.rar (Google it)
Works just fine!

1. Install the WP-S1 CD Software (PC Sync)
2. Go to Device Manager and check the COMM port for Modem and COMM port for Diagnostic
3. Run v4mpire_unlocker
4. Edit the correct COMM port.
5. Select direct unlock, press the AMOI button.
6. Congratulations, now you have a unlocked WP-S1!!

Mate I have done all you are describing here but it does not seem to work. Can you please provide me some more help?

1. PLC (Comm card - Prosoft ?)
2. Modems
3. Multiplexers
4. Optical Cables
5. RS232 Cables
6. Comm Port Spliter (MOXA?)
7. SCADA System (Oracle Database ?)

try another sunroof button if that doesnt work. Ive had 2 go out on 2 crxes

Comm ports are changed in the BIOS. You'll have to look at your screen and it will tell you which key to hit for setup before the Windows splash screen appears.

this is a conflict on ur board concerning the comm port 1, is either u reassign the port causing the conflict or call a techian to look into it. if wanna check this out go to start - program - accessories - system tools - system information. it will take some time b4 it displays and then select Hareware resouces then click on conflict sharing, IRQ 4 is ur COM1 port.

If you're pretty sure its your comm ports, boot up into your bios setup screen. (Tap Del while booting) Then go to the onboard devices page or any page that lists your com ports and change the property value to disabled.

I believe if you hold the button down that has the green ring around it and power it back on it resets the printer to the factory defaults.
