Cannot figure out how to remove bottom panel of freezer to get to the drain tube. The bottom panel has no screws. How do I take off the panel? Model number: 2533867289A
SOURCE: water leaking onto floor
unplug it again , sounds like your drain line has frozen, instaead of defrost water going down the tube and under refrig in drain pan, becuse tube is frozen its draining into freezer compartment and eventually spilling out through front of unit. totally defrost unit and behind back wall of freezer youll see a metal trough designed to catch water, in the center (under the ice is gonna be the drain hole, pour boiling water down until it runs freely
SOURCE: remove panel
the freezer panel has 2 fan motors, one for the i/m area and the other for cooling. there is 1 screw in the center of the panel, remove it and then the panel will have to be wedged out. it may seem like it is tight but go ahead and pull on the panel and it will come out.
before you can do this, you will need to remove the drawer and rails so you can get into the panel easily.
p.s. you didnt say why you want to remove this panel???
by the way, these units have problems with the fan motors causing poor cooling in the refr section.

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the Freezer is because the water has been leaking into the freezer instead of running into the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck! P.s Please don't forget to rate my solution thanks! Mike.

SOURCE: Water running out bottom of freezer
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. During the self defrost; the water is channeled to an evaporator tray located under the refrigerator. The fan blows warm air on it from the cooling system and the water is evaporated. The line which sent the water to the pan gets clogged due to which water got accumulated in the bottom of the refrigerator and then it will pour out onto the floor. To allow the water to go to the evaporator tray you need to unclog the tubing. Most refrigerators periodically blow warm air across the condensation tray. The warm air dries the condensation in the tray.
Check the hose under your fridge that drains condensation and such into a catch tray. Make sure the hose is draining properly.
Blow air through the tube to make sure it is not clogged. A coat hanger wire or a bicycle pump can be used to break up clogs or force air through the drain to remove any clogged material. To allow free flow of the air vacuum out the dust from under the fridge.
The main reason of clogging is caused due to the dust, moisture and micro-organisms get together in the drain tube. Vacuum the dust from the back and bottom of the fridge. Please also check that the drain tube is firmly connected at all points. The drain tube can be flushed with chlorine bleach, rubbing alcohol or other anti-bacterial products which should be in consistent with the tubing material. Make sure that anti-bacterial product is not flown into the food compartment.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee

Either your fan has stopped working, or it is not defrosting. Take the back panel of the freezer off and see if the evaporator coil is iced over, if it is replace the deforst heater, and the deforst thermostat. If the compressor is running the fan if the freezer should be running. Also make sure both your fridge and freezer controls are centered. Putting the freezer on the coldest setting acutally shuts off airflow to the fridge.
