I lost the remote and cant find a universal that is explicitly for this TV - do you know any univeral remotes that will work and what is the code Model Number of Element Electronics TV is FLX3211B Also the channel button on the side of the TV does not change the channel. It is stuck on Channel 2 so I cant get cable.

    the menu button on the side of the tv is also stuck - it doesnt move out of video.
    i thought it needs the remote but maybe there is something else wrong since the side buttons dont work? the volume button and on off button does work

    Thank you! I didnt unscrew the TV but I cleaned around the buttons and it worked! I was able to find the scanning option on the menu. Now I just have to find a remote. Thanks again!!

You can go to menu options, than find programming options.
Look for an option called "autoprogram" and select it. It will search and set all available channels.

There is universal remotes for this tv that you can find by googling "elements electronics remotes":

    If you feel up to the challenge, you can pull out all the screws of the tv, than slowly pull tv apart, than take rubbing alcohol and cotton swab and clean the buttons.

Universal codes sylvania need tv
Universal codes are in ur tv univeral remote manual already.None of those codes work for ur tv brand.None of the codes people give u will work either.Return the universal remote where u bought it.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.

First:Universal remotes are bull.I am serious,universal remotes do not work for half of the televisions out there and work poorly for another quarter of them.Universal remotes are designed and programed to fit the top of the line televisions in the specific years that they were made.So the universal remote just might not work.You can,although,get a new remote for the television by calling up the people who made it and buying a second one.They shouldnt be all that costly and you can probably get the people who deliver it or mail it to help you set it up in person or over the phone.Hope it helped
