I have just installed my American Standard Hydro Massage Bathtub.Upon doing my test run, the manual said the unit should shut off after approximately ten minutes. This is not happening as it stays running until I shut it off. I also notice the motor running fairly hot on the exterior casing. Can't hold your hand on it. I'm putting inclosing the tub until I get some answers.Terry [email protected]

You will need to check with the Mfg of your bathtub for new skirt.
You may find a generic front skirt at your local hardware store i.e. Lowes or Home Depot.

I broke the pvc pipes that transport the water to the jets. I need replacement pipes. Where do I get those?

the PVC pipes used to plumb bathtubs can be either rigid PVC pipe or flex PVC pipe. You may use either kind and is usually available at your local Home Center.

Flame wont stay on and have replaced the flame sensor

You have a limit switch that is tripping. I bet it is the flame roll out switch that is very close to the burners. You can bypass this switch to check if it is the one causing the problem by removing the two wires going to it and installing a small jumper wire between them. If the unit starts up, then that's the problem and if not, check all of them. But that's pretty much the only thing it can be. But, you need to double check that the unit is being told to come on and not cutting out intermittently. I doubt it though!
