I've had this for one year and it's worked great. I have five car and home docking stations that I switch between daily.
Up until two months ago, I've taken it from docking station to docking station and it didn't have a problem detecting the antenna.
All docking stations, antennas, and cables are the same ones that come with Sirius' Home and Auto Kits.
I found that if I wedge a thick piece of cardboard under the left or right end of the receiver so the receiver is at an angle, the antenna will stay connected.
Since this happens to four of my five car/home docking stations, I know it's the jacks in the receiver that's the issue.
I've been searching for any maintenance procedures (e.g. cleaning) I can do on the jacks before I resort to purchasing a new receiver.
In the meantime, I can at least listen to my favorite stations.
SOURCE: Sirius Stiletto 2 constantly "acquiring signal"
This is an odd fix, but I read it yesterday after having the "Acquiring Signal" issue for a week. I put it in the freezer for 30 minutes, brought it back to my desk and now it works. I don't know why or how, but I am happy.

Send it back. I hit 13 months exactly and the rep still wrote it up under the 1yr policy. I still have to put a new one in to replace what in this case was a SC-C1 tuner. A pattern likes this makes me want to sell my stock :(. You can't let customers be driven away by stuff. Most can't, or won't, roll sleeves up to fix. They'll just leave.
