SOURCE: My speed queen washer wont fill all the way up on extra large setting. How can I adjust the water level switch so that it will fill up to the top? My model is Awn542

This is mentioned in the manual-the federal gov't has required manufacturers to set water levels lower to conserve water. You can fill it more by holding the load size level to reset until it has the amount you want.

Hi, the belt has come off and I need to get in there to change it . do I undo the screws at the bottom and lift the whole outer cover off or what?there does`nt seem to be a back cover like the normal...

Normally there should be two screws at the bottom of the front panel.
The top cover usually lifts up by depressing the spring tabs located in the gap
between the top cover and the front panel to allow lifting of the front panel. These tabs
are located about two inches from each end and you can use a putty knife to push back.

Push the tabs back and lift the cover up, then remove
either two screws located inside the front panel or two screws on the outside at the
bottom of the front panel and lift the front panel slightly to disengage. Remember to
unplug unit before servicing. Hope this helps.

Washing machine goes thru the wash cycle then it stops, if I lift the door it starts again ,than stops. lift the door it starts than stops

It could be your out of balance switch is getting tripped before you try it again put in the spin cyc and see if it spins and drains the water if it does a odd sized load could be causing the failure.
