My remote and the volume/channel buttons on the TV do not work, I can only turn the tv on and off. None of the buttons work on the remote or TV including the TV-Video button. I've tried the power reset (unplugging the tv for up to an hour) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any time I press a button the remote control blinks 3 times (under TV). I got the 1.04 firmware from Panasonic but when I put the SD card in the slot nothing happens and pressing the SD card button on the remote does nothing (again, remote control blinks 3 times). Any suggestions? Thank you in advance
My son put a penny in the SD card slot of my Pansonic flat screen tv. I finally got the penny out but now the volume and tv controls do not work. I can change the channels through my cable box but that is it. The volume does not work on my cable remote or the flatscreen. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?? Thanks, Josh
Try unplugging while the TV is still on and plug it back after 5 mins and check. it should work.
Mine did. I know this may be a crude method, but it worked.
Wow. Thank you so much. My daughter put a penny in our SD slot too....nothing was responding to any remote or buttons on the tv. The only thing we could do was turn it on. We unplugged the tv, fished out the penny...then plugged it back in and turned it on...boom...everything works again!
We promptly put a nice piece of clear tape over the sd flap so this won't happen again.
God bless the internet. :)
Unplugging and plugging back in after 5 minutes did the trick! Thanks.
If none of the buttons work except power u should reset your tv. Hold vol- on tv and menu button on remote. Then unplug tv. Everything will be resset. And your remote control will work again.
I had the same problem with my TH-37PX60U. When you put the plug back in the TV will go to the beginning set up screen. Reset the date and time and it works fine.
