I'm afraid to say camera is junk now as Its been dropped in sea and washed as well.
Water of any type is enemy of electronics boards/ parts and that damage is irrevocable.
New camera is better option for you so please do not waste time and money on this camera.
Thanks.

Wb button blinks blue then turns camera off

Make sure battery is fully charged. Remove any SD card - does it still do this? If not, it may be defective card, or it may be a bad SD circuit board. Try another card. If it deos the same with another card, replace SD circuit and re-test.

This assumes camera has not been impacted, dropped, water damaged, etc.

My camera fell in sea water

My sympathies. If you immediately fished the camera out, removed the battery, rinsed it in fresh water, and let it dry thoroughly before even thinking about putting the battery back in and seeing whether it turns on again, then you MIGHT be able to salvage the camera. Otherwise it's time for a new camera.

The pictures on your memory card should be okay. Just rinse the card in fresh water and let it dry before trying to read the card.

How do you fix a cloudy camera screen

Most cameras are not water proof. You have to dry up the water before it may work? If bath water is dirty, you have to wash the camera parts before drying it. LCD screen if wet has to be replaced.

I bought a 2g sdhc memory card for my sea and sea dx-860g today and I get a card error when I try to use it. Is this because it is an sdhc rather than an sd?

hello jwill..... your camera External memory: Supports SD/MMC cards

I believe you are correct in saying that it does not support sdhc. Joe

Z612 no power on. Battery klic8000 is ok fully charged. No led flashing. No sand, no water, no drop, any issue. Was working well until yesterday.

Hi,
As per your description it seems your camera have internal fault (circuit problem) which only get resolved in Kodak Service Center but before that you can check following things:-
  • Clean your battery terminal with soft cloth. (Might be it will filled with dirt or dust )
  • Direction of your battery might be wrong, Check out and put it again.
  • Load new or fully charged battery.
  • Check whether Memory Card/Battery Cover is properly closed.

Thanks....!!
Rating the solution is highly appreciated.

I dropped my camera in the sea and it wont turn on. is it fixable?

No, sorry. Seawater is every bit as bad as crushing or fire to any unprotected electronic devices.

Your camera is a total loss. The only faint chance of saving it would have been to immediately remove the battery and memory card and to immerse it in a large bucket of de-ionised fresh water (as used in car batteries and steam irons)... not exactly the sort of thing most folks have access to at sea or on the beach. Even then the chances of saving it would have been almost zero.

Camera is not getting on - after fell in sea water

As long as the xD card was not formatted it is possible to recover the images that were accidently erased or unable to be downloaded to computer. You can go to the following website link and download an image recovery software program that is free of charge.
http://www.z-a-recovery.com/
You want to download a program called Zero Assumption Recovery. It is a very simple program to use and people have had much success in recovering lost images.

Sony cybershot dsc S650

To salvage the pictures you could just use a memory card reader. As for the camera itself I cannot say, but by your description it doesn't sound promising.
