After I removed a paper jam I keep getting a printer error message.
OK, often when removing a paper jam this can happen:
1) - when pulling the jammed paper out you can leave behind a small piece or loosen up another small piece from a previous jam. This piece can then become the 'new' jam by clogging the jam sensor or switch. Use a small flashlight to look done the previous jammed area to see if this is the case.
2) - when pulling the jammed paper out you can 'mis align' or damage the jam sensor (or switch) so that it always registers a jam. this fix may require a technician or repair shop to fix.

Then there is something stuck in the paper feed path which is holding up the sensor flag making it think there is paper in it.
Or maybe the sensor flag has been broken off by yanking paper out the wrong way when it gets stuck.
Get your vacuum cleaner and stick the hose down the paper feed path and see if it suck out a push pin, piece of paper paper, fur ball, eraser, coin, toe nail, false eye lash etc (all of which I have removed from machines with "paper jams")

I have the same exact problem of paper half torn removed but I can not see the other half anywhere. The printer has hardly worked for at the most six pages and now showing paper jam error. How do I fix it?

After 5-6 days of this issue really **** me off, ive found the problem.Lift up the scanner lid, move the printer heads/cartridge holder to the left. Look at the white and black printer head thing down there in the gap, it is not sitting correctly in its position, use a small screw driver or pen to re-sit this thing. It should sit nice and snug rather than all wobbly like mine was. Just a small push or poke should do the job. Email me at [email protected] should you require further assistance.
