You will need the original remote control I,m afraid. The original remote is the Durabrand HYF-23A. On the original remote, incase you do have one, is a button marked TV/AV. That is the button that changes between the TV and the Audio/video inputs. Are you wondering if this Durabrand TV is going to be ok in 2009 when Television goes all Digital?
This will not affect cable TV users only people trying to recieve TV over the AIR UHF/VHF will be digital signals now and will require a special tuner to recieve them.
Most durabrands have Analog/Digital tuners but they are analog TV's.
