Windows 8.1 rt won't install hp6110 printer

I have a HP OfficeJet 6110 that I'm willing to sell. It is having the "Right Cartridge Incorrect" error described earlier in this this thread, and I haven't found the right fix for it yet. Worked just fine up to now.

GO to add scanner utility and try to add the scanner if it ask for the driver insert the disk.

Most HP OfficeJet printers have a generic driver already installed in Windows XP and Vista computers.

All you have to do is to connect the printer without installing any driver or CD and let the computer detect the printer. The compute will ask you if you would like to install the generic driver.

1. open lid
2. place paper in lower left corner of scan window(make sure paper is on only the glass)
3. close lid
4. press scan
5. wait patiently
6. HP window should pop up and say that it is completed scanning and ask if you wait to scan again or if you are done.

how do i scan my documents to PC ie .. on my hp6110 all in one printer.

Before starting installation next time, do the following > remove temp files from your computer > look for the services running, plug and play must be started and automatic and win installer must be started and automatic > reomve all earlier pritner installation > remove print server ports > look for device driver entries, uninstall the DOT4 printer entry > reboot computer, start installation freshly

You didn't told me that your printer's model no. is HP6110xi not HP6110 only. Try installing the drivers from this link---

And, if it still doesn't work then there is something wrong with your Mac, i think its corrupt. And if you want to send out the fax so urgently then send it using windows as you were saying that windows is also installed in your pc.

What model of your printer..

does the whole software program show up under:
my computer
programs?

Does an icon show up in the system tray?
Did you install IE7?
