That controller is expensive and needs to be reprogrammed after repairs. I'd let a service and repair center do the work. You just can't jump in and fix it yourself without that programmer.

If your Dalton Primechair is not receiving power from the control arm, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
Check Power Source:
Make sure the chair is plugged into a working power outlet.
Check the power cord and ensure it is securely connected to both the chair and the electrical outlet.
Power Switch:
Verify that the power switch on the control arm is in the "ON" position.
If there is a separate power switch on the chair's body, ensure it is also turned on.
Batteries (If Applicable):
If the chair uses batteries, check if they are properly installed and functional. Replace the batteries if necessary.
Remote Control (If Applicable):
If the chair comes with a remote control, ensure that the batteries are installed correctly and that the remote is functioning.
Fuse:
Check if there is a fuse in the power supply line or within the control arm. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same type and rating.
Wiring Connections:
Inspect the wiring connections from the control arm to the chair. Look for any loose or disconnected wires. Reconnect any loose wires securely.
Faulty Control Arm or Power Supply:
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a fault in the control arm or the power supply system. Contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may provide guidance on troubleshooting or recommend professional service.
User Manual:
Refer to the user manual for troubleshooting tips and specific instructions related to the Dalton Primechair.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with these steps, it's advisable to seek assistance from the manufacturer's customer support or contact a professional technician who is familiar with the specific model of your chair.
The wire is connected to a switch that turns your icemaker on and off. It could be that the wire lever came loose from the switch arm, but more likely the switch itself is defective. See if the mechanism connecting the wire arm to the switch is loose and if it can be tightened. If not, replace the switch.
You may have a loose power wire down in the electrical box on the dishwasher. Sometimes the wire nuts come loose if they are not securely fully. A loose wire may give it enough power to light the control panel and when the water valve turns ON the amperage increases, then the wires will push apart. This is because the two loose wires become magnetically similar poles and push apart. I have fixed many dishwashers by turning OFF the power to the dishwasher. Removing the lower kick panel opening up the electrical box, then removing the wire nuts, then reattach the wires together with the wire nuts again. Turn ON the power and see if the washer now works. If it does, then reassemble the dishwasher.
If this does not work, then you may have a loose wire connection in the control panel.

The arm should have a pin through it that secures it to the bracket that is attached to the arm bearing. There should be a long spring that is used to adjust the tracking force and it is underneath the arm.
The arm can be taken off by taking the player apart, unsoldering the wires from the arm and unscrewing the nut on the turntable bearing.
Because the arm mounts to a soft rubber grommet it should feel a little loose.
Hope this helps.

I had a similar issue with the Thermador CVS30R hood continually going up and down, and also issues with the fan starting. The issue was found to be a loose control arm off the motor. The arm itself moved outward on the motor shaft which resulted in it missing the switches that control the hood up/down and fan start. This was a somewhat simple fix.Make sure the hood is in the down position. Unplug the unit from power(important!). Unscrew the screw that connects the drive arm to the drive link. Unscrew the motor/control cover, then unscrew the 4 screws holding the complete motor/control unit on (2 Phillips-head screw on each end of the assembly). Pull the complete motor/control assembly out, be careful of wiring. Once out, push the drive arm on firmly onto the motor assembly and tighten the screw. When doing so make sure the 2 micro switch arms are not caught and are free to switch. When placing the unit back in, ensure all wiring is clear from being caught and ground is reconnected. Put it all back together and done! I found this link to be useful for a parts/configuration diagram:http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=232629&diagram_id=194441#d194441
