No picture when recording have sound just lines going through len

Possible screen controls in the set are up too high---if you turn picture and brightness to zero does the screen get full black?

screens set too high would give diagonal faint trace lines in the picture.

These sets also should get a annual cleaning of the lens and sometimes the mirror inside= if this is the case the picture will usually look darker and dull ----this will not affect lines in picture.

This maybe two problems, the pink color hue in the picture and lines from lens shutter problems. Your LCD is still good. You have to replace motherboard and lens.

Well! harley with 38girls, if they are dirty on the inside of lenes. This Night Owl has four or five lenses. Therefore, it needs to taken to a camera shop for they can clean the inside of the lenes. For the out side of lenes, get a camera lenes clean kit. These kit can be used to clean eye glasses. One more thing here, make sure that you have lens covers for this NV monocular. If I understand you correctly, you're saying that the LCD display shows a normal picture when you are composing your shot, but that when you actually snap the shutter to record the shot, the resulting image has nasty lines across it?

That would indicate that the lens is fine, but that the image sensor itself or associated electronics have gone bad. If this is out of warranty, then you're likely out of luck.

Sounds like it could be cracked glass or a dirty lens. if its a cracked lens take it to a repair shop or buy new. if its a dirty lens whew! you saved some money just clean it off good luck please rate,

Make sure your Camera Strap or Lens Cover is no laying across your lens.

From the Fuji S1 Manual:

F-- (Flashing) or (lit in M Mode)

Cause:
The lens mounted is not a Nikkor lens with built-in CPU or no lens is mounted on the camera.

Solution:
Use a Nikkor lens with built-in CPU (excluding IX Nikkor lenes). (Note that pictures can still be taken in M mode.)
