Error code F3 /E2 on Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer.

Question moved from Cars and Trucks.

The Whirlpool washer F3E2 error code is a temperature sensor error. You can check the temperature sensor with an ohm meter to verify the sensor is bad. ... The correct ohm reading should be between 500-100K ohms, if not the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced.

I suspect I need to clean the filter on my washer, but I can't figure out how to do this as there is no kickplate or seam. Where is the filter located and how can I clean it out?

Everyone says to pull the front access panel off but my WFW94HEX machine also had no front panel. I took the back panel off and accessed the pump filter from the back side. All the rubber hoses were also coated with mildew and I cleaned them all out as well (the connection from the drain to the pump, the air vent, etc.). The smell is reduced but not gone. Not hard to do but I suspect it will not permanently fix the problem.

Whirlpool RF368LXMQ Overheats; Displays F3E2

I'd start with testing the oven sensor that if that is bad it wont be horrible because you'll have no problem replacing it yourself less than $100. That is where I'd start let me know if it works. Good Luck.
