Ios 6 update - Cell Phones

go to settings & find the relevant place for updating to ios 6. You may not get the option for ios 6 though as the iphone 4 can use ios 7. If however you have an iphone 4S you can use ios 8

iOS 6 is possible only on iPhone 3GS / 4 / 4S

it is not possible to update an iPhone 3 to iOS 6!
it supports only iOS 4.2 - not newer
For the iPad first generation (A1219) to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer.
- this model supports only iOS 4.2
- NO iOS 5/ 6/7/8

on a 1.gen. iPad it is impossible to install iOS 6!
this model supports only iOS 5 !

First Generation iPads can use iOS 5
