They are correct. Inkjets are almost never worth fixing, the parts are to costly. Get a laser jet you will save yourself a lot of grief.

Yours is broken and theirs is good. When they are not looking switch them out....lol

Try to re-seat your cartridges and make sure they are properly inserted in the cartridge carrier.
If that doesn't help, please do the Align Cartridges function on your printer. From the printer operator panel, while on Copy mode, press the Menu button > Tools > Maintenance > Align Cartridges. You printer will then print a test page that will help align the cartridges.
After the page is printed, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed. Thanks.

You need the pick up rollers replaced. Call your service centre to replace pick rollers as these are feeding the pages crocked

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.

Sounds like when you pulled out the paper jam, you misaligned the print carriage. That would produce both the noises you hear and the print quality issues. If all else fails, unplug the power cord from the printer, wait 20 seconds or so, then plug it back in. That should restart the printer and make it go into a self test which may include a realignment procedure. Watch for any error messages on the display on the printer's control panel. Sometimes to realign, it prints out two test pages and instructs you to place the first printout on the scanner bed and then press Enter.

Ensure paper edge guides on paper cassette are set to correct paper size ie .against edge of paper.
