Green light is blinking - Danby 3.6 cu. ft. / 102 liter Chest Freezer Millenium DCF401W

Probably the blinking green light is an indication that something is wrong with the compressor or a related component.

My guess would be yellow?

Try unplugging the freezer for 10 minutes to reset the cycle.

It looks like a bad ignition switch or capacitor. This is not that expensive. Probably not the compressor. Unfortunately, one small part stops the whole show.have a friend who is a tech look at it.

if you turn the freezer off for some time then on again the red light has to come on as an indicator for high temperature it goes off by itself when the freezer attains the required temperature according to the thermostat settings ,that is the lower the settings the faster the red light goes off. the orange light indicates super cooling and the green light indicates power supply.if you turn the two lights off and the freezer still works without the green light on that means that the bulb for the green light is faulty and you don,t need to worry

My Kenmore chest freezer just went dead today. It ruined my Ribeye steaks, my shrimps and other meats. I will not buy a Kenmore again.

look for the manual its usually underneath...remove the grille and look inside. sometimes its taped up

Your problem is more than likely in the light itself. The green light is the indicator that the temperature is in acceptable range.
