A lot of these older units will not support scanning from anything but a real parallel port, it is the way the drivers were written. If you want to print, your best option in my opinion is to get a parallel print server. This adapter connects to the parallel port on the printer and then you connect a network cable to the adapter. Follow the configuration instructions that come with the adapter and you are good to go. Typically called a parallel print server.
If you tell it to print and the item goes into your Que for printing. In that screen click on the printer tab... In the drop down verify that the "Use Printer OffLine" does NOT have a check mark next to it.
You need to buy the zebranet PS2 print server
P/N G46692 External PrintServer II. It will plug into the parallel port. they just stoped making them but they are still for sale at zebra resellers. here is one at random from google
How is this printer connected to your computer? Is it connected by a parallel/centronics cable, or USB, or perhaps not connected physically at all, but via network (it's a network-capable printer)?
Also, you don't specify the operating system.
I would guess, that it was installed on the LPT (parallel) port, instead of a network port, and because in reality nothing is connected to the parallel port it is producing an error (explaining why it's called busy would be long and boring).
Anyway, please either check the setting of the port to which this printer is printing (find that in Printer Properties), or be more specific as to what your current situation is.
You are getting black lines in green color, and apperence of parallel light and dark lines because your colour catridge is almost empty. So solution is replace the catridge and take a printout. There is no proplem with a printer. i think it solves your problem.
sir/mam, there is no usb port on all 1810p and also the usb to parallel cable is not working with these machines.
what you can do as an option is to find a parallel print server, or you may connet the copier to the router with a builtin parallel print server
